Some of the major contributions in the industry include developing the first open-source vehicle tracking system, introducing computer-based travel demand modeling followed by economic feasibility analysis, applying a computer-based microsimulation approach in traffic operation and management, modernizing transportation data collection using cameras, GPS tracking systems and drones; big data analysis and data mining, applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to develop Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) based solutions; introducing an illustration-based road safety audit system; developing guidelines and manuals ‐ particularly pertaining to road safety, designing flexible pavements, etc.

Untapped Ideas Limited is also the only training partner of Bentley Systems in Bangladesh for their products related to mobility management. Currently, Untapped Ideas Limited is working closely with TRL Limited to modernize the crash and asset database management in Bangladesh.
